CryptConsole Ransomware Description
Computer victims have reported a new infection with a previously unknown malware threat. The report was made on a famous security online community where the victims posted the designated malicious file which led to an initial assessment of the threat.
It appears that the CryptConsole ransomware is merely a scareware attempt, the encryption engine does not work. The affected files types are merely renamed using the given file name extension.
The ransomware note is crafted in a How decrypt files.hta file. It contains the following message:

Your personal ID

Discovered a serious vulnerability in your network security.
No data was stolen and no one will be able to do it while they are encrypted.

CryptConsole Ransomware Distribution

– Select the “View” tab
– Go under “Hidden files and folders” and mark “Show hidden files and folders” option

– Open “View” tab
– Mark “Hidden items” option
4) Click “Apply” and then “OK” button
STEP III: Enter Windows Task Manager and Stop Malicious Processes

1) Hit the following key combination: CTRL+SHIFT+ESC
2) Get over to “Processes”
3) When you find suspicious process right click on it and select “Open File Location”
4) Go back to Task Manager and end the malicious process. Right click on it again and choose “End Process”
5) Next you should go folder where the malicious file is located and delete it
