As a new step of security (to continue using Microsoft Windows) we require you to complete a survey for a new product code.

From the lock screen we can deduce that there are several strategies that the criminal operators have used in the Sharecash Screenlocker ransomware:

  • The hackers blackmail the users by impersonating Microsoft stating that the locker is a legitimate Windows security feature
